The Michigan Creditors Bar Association (MCBA) was established in 1994. MCBA provides seminars on collection law as well as education and networking opportunities for attorneys, paralegals, judges, court officers and members of the collection industry.
MCBA attorneys are licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. To qualify for and be admitted to full membership, a firm shall have a primary member who is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan, who is a member in good standing in the State Bar of Michigan and who regularly engages in the practice of Creditors' Rights.

Full Member ($175) plus Governmental Assessment Fee ($100 or $375): a firm shall have a primary member who is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan , who is a member in good standing in the State Bar of Michigan and who regularly engages in the practice of Creditor’s Rights.
Michigan now has a new, effective and economical remedy to enforce judgments. MCL 600.2801 et seq. allows judgment creditors to file judgment liens in the county in which the debtor resides.
The Michigan Creditors Bar Association held a seminar on September 29, 2004 regarding the new Judgment Lien Law which became effective in Michigan as of September 1, 2004. The seminar was videotaped live.
